I have thoroughly enjoyed your photos and catching these beautiful birds in action. When I lived in New Mexico (about 12 yrs ago), I remember seeing a family of scaled quails on my neighbor's roof. And I've seen gambel's quails in Mesa when I've visited my in-laws. And it's been many years since I've seen California quails here in the south bay area.Mary Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08077077785157768787noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16027033.post-19429370524950960552008-05-15T05:41:00.000-07:002008-05-15T05:41:00.000-07:00I like the "window" view in the last photo. Those babies follow around and have the very best communication system. What a treat it must be to see them on your patio like that.robin andreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13390482190562312928noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16027033.post-20044875231591127302008-04-30T03:29:00.000-07:002008-04-30T03:29:00.000-07:00I love quails - what lovely photos - thanks so muc...I love quails - what lovely photos - thanks so much.
