thor, endment, sonia - I'm usually a night owl and not a morning person, but when I do get up in time to see the sunrise it's always enchanting. Recently, Jupiter's bright presence at dawn has made it even more glorious. (My post of Jan. 28 shows Jupiter and the moon in the early morning sky.)
I'm a morning person, I just love the light of the sunrise. It is always so warm. Reminds me of Joni Mitchell's Chelsea Morning-- "The sun poured in like butterscotch and stuck to all my senses..." Beautiful sunrise, Pam.
RD - I think once I really retire and don't have to be on my computer late at night, I'll become a morning person, too. Much more to see and hear - the birds all wake at first light. And I can hear the haunting call of the local owl pre-dawn. I love Chelsea Morning ...
I retired from the University of Arizona, where I coordinated distance learning. New enthusiasms include learning about digital photography and photoprocessing, archaeology, theatre, and observing the natural world around me.
