ow - I hope there are fairies around here; don't know how dusty they get, though.

lené - There's much celebration around us - fiestas, mariachis; it's wonderful to learn about the Chicano culture and to be able to share in it.

chancy - I'm glad you saw the celebration in the flower. It's a special day for many of Tucson's people and I wanted to honour it.

lené- I guess we all miss the cultures we move away from. We used to live on Centre St. in Manhattan - I miss the festas of Little Italy and the Chinese Festivals, too. But I do love the Latino culture and customs that are so prevalent in Tucson.
