The next morning, I photographed a gull as it foraged on the beach.

Before leaving the area, we drove up the hill to the east. This view is looking north up the Okanagan Valley.
We then drove west in search of fresh-picked cherries. We were directed to a fruit stand in the little town of Keremeos, where we bought cherries and strawberries. While we were there, we shopped at a hemp store. The owner carves mastodon ivory and had a mastodon tusk and also a mammoth tusk for sale.
