Saguaro National Park West Visitor Center

Saguaro National Park is divided into two divisions: East and West. The west division is west of the Tucson Mountains. I love its Visitor Center, which isn't far from the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum.

The architecture is beautiful:

the interpretive exhibits inside are beautifully done:
(That's my 100-year old mom reading every interpretive label in the exhibit area. Isn't she great?

and the view of the Saguaro Forest from the terrace is spectacular:

I love that visitor center also and the people there are very helpful in explaining trails. I was there in March :)

tai - That particular shot is heavily cropped and wouldn't enlarge any more, but I'll keep your idea in mind the next time we go out there (in the autumn - after our summer heat dies down).

ra and cb - Yes! My mom does rock. She just talked me in to helping her organize the library in her assisted living facility :)
