After Day 2, I continued learning about the Nikon's features and took a lot of photos around our house. I was able to stitch 7 photos together in panorama mode. I took photos in the evening, using the flash. I found it particularly difficult to focus on the Red Bird of Paradise and also close-ups of our creosote bush. I need to learn how to focus on small objects.
