BC Road Trip - Bear Swimming - Voted #1

June 10 - Somewhere between105 Mile House and Quesnel. We were on a very high bridge crossing a creek. Noticed a dark animal by the bank - realized it was a bear. Swung back and watched the bear swim across the river.
We saw wonderful animals, beautiful birds and magnificent scenery, but we voted this the highlight of our trip.

I remember seeing my first bear when we came to BC in 2003. Yhe thrill will never leave me. Your pics are bringing back memories and make me want to visit again.
We stayed a couple of nights on Fawn Lake not that far from 100mile house. There I saw my first Loon.Such a beautiful bird and such a distinctive call.
