And I met up with what I believe is a Douglas Squirrel on Y.T.'s and S.'s cabin porch. This one doesn't have as bushy a tail as the one I met in Oregon.
Lovely sightings. I well remember my first Rufus Hummingbird! Your squirrel is so adorible... Don't you want to have him stay to lunch? Hope you continue to have a delightful and refreshing trip.
I retired from the University of Arizona, where I coordinated distance learning. New enthusiasms include learning about digital photography and photoprocessing, archaeology, theatre, and observing the natural world around me.

Love those Rufus Hummingbirds. We have them here in our yard everyday. They are quite a joy to watch. Love that Douglas squirrel.
