BC Road Trip - Hummingbirds, Squirrel

June 12 - Mt. Robson Lodge.

My first Rufous Hummingbirds!

Click to enlarge - look closely and you can see his tongue.

And I met up with what I believe is a Douglas Squirrel on Y.T.'s and S.'s cabin porch. This one doesn't have as bushy a tail as the one I met in Oregon.

Lovely sightings. I well remember my first Rufus Hummingbird!
Your squirrel is so adorible... Don't you want to have him stay to lunch?
Hope you continue to have a delightful and refreshing trip.

Love those Rufus Hummingbirds. We have them here in our yard everyday. They are quite a joy to watch. Love that Douglas squirrel.
