I've created greeting cards, note cards and postcards recently and I'm very pleased by the reception they've received. I've started to get some orders. As a result, I consulted with my friend Gail Williams, our tax advisor. She advised me to set up a company (sole proprietorship) and get a state sales license.
Now I have to think up a name for my photography business. Soon I'll be creating a web site, but until then I'll put some of my more popular photos on a related blog. In the mean time, I'll just sell locally where people can view my hard-copy catalog.
Profits from the sale of my photos will be donated to the Tucson Interfaith HIV/AIDS Network.
